Pavia is a Portuguese village in the municipality of Mora, in the Alentejo region, with an area of 185.28 km² and 932 inhabitants (2011). Its population density is 5 inhabitants/km².
The territory of Pavia has been populated since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the numerous megalithic monuments in the area.
The parish of Pavia is currently made up of two villages, Pavia and Malarranha, with a population level of around 1600 inhabitants.
A typical Alentejo village, which is already far from Ribatejo. Surrounded by a landscape as far as the eye can see and where you can see small white dots, the typical Alentejo hills, scattered among cork oaks and holm oaks.
